bondura® 4.0 & 6.0 are proven expanding pin solutions designed for applications where two bores must be perfectly centred, typically in adjacent plates or mechanical parts. They provide a cost-efficient and reliable way to align the connection and creates a secure expanding lock in the bores.
Both designs allow installation, tightening, and retrieval from one side of the adjacent plates. When tightened to the specified torque, the conical end sleeve moves axially and expands radially into the bores. This centres them precisely relatively to each other and locking the assembly securely in place.
